Debugging using Debug View in GA4 [2.1.0]

Introduction

This section introduces how to check the dataflow activities in Google Analytics Debug View.

In order to activate debug_mode, we have to navigate through the application framework and set the gtag as TRUE. This enables dataLayerDebugMode as TRUE for all the tags in the Google Tag Manager.

  1. Sign in to Google Analytics. In the bottom left corner, click on the Settings gear icon.

  2. Click on Admin ,we can see Accounts with properties. Then, choose the specific Account .(E.g dev4.a3fa.com)

  3. Now, click on Settings gear icon and select Configure >Debug view

  4. After successful GTM to GA linkage ,we can find the Debug device connected to your GTM container.

  5. Now, perform the activities in the Run3TV application. DebugView in GA displays the triggered events with respective User and Event properties.
